WELCOMEWelcome to the Cayuga Arts Collective. Founded in 2017, we are sponsored by the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts. We are dedicated to creating a space for artists to convene, learn, and show their work. We offer low-cost membership and strive to offer a wide range of classes/open sessions and exhibition opportunities. We hope to serve as a platform to serve local artists and we hope to expand in many areas of interest including printmaking, plein-air painting, and urban sketch. We are open to partnering with like-minded groups. Please consider joining us in the creative experiment that is the Cayuga Arts Collective @ TCFA.
MISSION The mission of the Cayuga Arts Collective is to build a community that fosters creativity in the visual arts. PHILOSOPHY Our philosophy reflects ideals perhaps best expressed by a U.K.- based group #artistsupportpledge in promoting cultural enrichment for everyone. Their mindful approach reads as follows: A GENEROUS CULTURE 1) Starts with you 2) Welcomes ALL 3) Creates opportunities for ALL 4) Respects and nurtures breadth and depth of experience and knowledge 5) Uses networks to support others 6) Uses success to support others 7) Has an open membership 8) Respects all ethnologies |
