Paddle Grant - A $500 Grant available to CayAC Members
The Cayuga Arts Collective has launched an annual grant of $500 for the purpose of professional growth.
A one-page online application is now available- the deadline is Friday, November 17, 2023 at midnight. The winner will be announced in December. Winning project must be completed in 2024. As a competitive grant, proposals are judged in “blind” readings by Dona Roman, director TCFA; Marina Delaney and Domenica Brockman, founders CayAC; and Andrea Murray TCFA board member and Lead Educator, Johnson Museum of Art, Cornell University.
To be eligible, you must be a CayAC member who has been a member at least since the annual member show at TCFA in the same year that you are submitting your grant application. You do not have to participate in the show itself to apply for the grant.
Grant monies can be used toward any number of project ideas — for example, new equipment; travel expenses; workshop fees; printing/publication costs — as long the proposal advances your growth as a visual artist in a meaningful way.
Once completed, the winner will be required to send copies of receipts as well as 1-5 photographs of their project, which can be used for promotional purposes by Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts.
